The March 2020 Quarterly Members Meeting Has Been Canceled

The March 12th KYACHW Full Association Meeting that was scheduled to will be held on Thursday, March 12th in Frankfort has been canceled. The current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation may make it difficult for some to meet. An email will be sent soon regarding a potential date for making up this meeting.

4th Quarter Members Meeting

Location: Montgomery County Health Department, 108 E. Locust St., Mt. Sterling, KY 40353

April Smith, Health Educator II with Montgomery County Health Department, provided Narcan training from 12:30pm-1:00pm. Every participantl received a Narcan kit that day. 2nd Quarter Members Meeting

Date:  May 21, 2019
Time: 10:00 am – 2:30 pm EST (with Board Meeting immediately following)
Location: Natural Bridge State Resort Park

The May 21st KYACHW Full Association Meeting was held at 10:00 am at Natural Bridge State Resort Park, 2135 Natural Bridge Road, Slade, KY 40376, held in the Woodland Center. Vivian Lasley-Bibbs conducted the “Bridges to Health” Training . A brief KYACHW Board Meeting followed the training and all association members were welcome to attend. All business was concluded at 3:00 pm.


1st Quarter KYACHW Members Meeting

We heard reports from each of the committee chairs. Special guest speaker Kristal Hankinson spoke about Trauma Informed Care. Angela Cooper from Voices of Health set up to video anyone that would like to talk about being a CHW. 


Our last quarterly meeting at the Natural Bridge State Resort was a great success! We had a plethora of CHWs from all over the state.
